How Hizli Carpooling Works Share rides, split the cost, and travel with people you can trust. 1. Create your account Sign up with your email or Google, and enter your date of birth. Complete your profile: photo, contact details, short bio, languages and ride preferences. A free account lets you search rides and publish your own once your profile is complete and your photo is approved. Rides from free accounts are not safety-verified by Hizli. 2. Become a verified member (recommended) Choose a plan: Student ($25/year, student ID required) or Standard ($35/year). Upload your documents: ID (front and back) and proof of address, plus your student ID for the Student plan. Our team reviews every document manually. Once your documents are approved, you pay your annual membership. Your account is then verified and you receive a confirmation email. Why? Payment opens only after approval, so you never pay for a membership that can’t be activated. 3. Search for a ride Enter your departure city, destination and date. Search is open to everyone. Open a ride to see the pickup and drop-off points, date, price per seat, seats left and the driver’s profile. Driver profiles show reviews left by past riders. 4. Book your seat Choose your ride and book it. The driver is notified by email. There is no online payment: you pay the driver directly at the time of the trip (cash, Venmo, Zelle, or any method you agree on). Your bookings and their status are in your dashboard under “My bookings”. 5. Publish a ride (for drivers) Set your route, pickup and drop-off points, date and time, number of seats and price per seat (whole dollars, based on actual trip costs). Free members: a complete profile and an approved photo are enough. Verified drivers: add your car details (make, year, color) and get your driver’s license (front and back), insurance and vehicle registration approved by our team. Verified women drivers can mark a ride as “Girls Only”. 6. Travel, then leave a review Meet at the pickup point and pay the driver directly. About 10 hours after the trip, your dashboard asks you to rate it. Please leave your review before booking or publishing a new ride. Verified members can rate their trips. Reviews are checked by our team before they appear on profiles. Accounts that break our rules can be suspended or banned.
